Your First Visit With Us
Please reserve approximately 45 minutes of your time for your first visit at our office. Your appointment will generally include a comprehensive exam, any necessary x-rays, and a gentle cleaning by one of our hygienists. If you are seeing us for an emergency, we will take an x-ray of the appropriate tooth and one of our dentists will assess it to determine the next steps.

Do you take my insurance?
We participate with most insurance plans, including Aetna, Guardian, MetLife, Cigna, and BCBS. Even if we are not in network with your plan, we are happy to file claims on your behalf. CareCredit financing is also available.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. New patients are always welcome – whether you’ve been seeing another dentist regularly, or have gone years since your last checkup!
How quickly can I be seen for a dental emergency?
Same day emergency appointments are available. We make every effort to see patients as soon as they call, and work to get you out of pain as quickly as possible.
What is an endodontist?
An endodontist is a dentist who has undergone an additional 2 years of postgraduate education on the treatment and management of diseases related to the nerves of teeth. Most people know them as being “root canal specialists.” Union Square Dental has an endodontist here on staff, so that our patients can get their root canal treated in our office without being referred somewhere else.
Do you offer braces?
Yes. Our office has certified Invisalign providers on staff, so that you or your teen can benefit from clear braces without the hassle of traditional metal brackets and wires.
